So we installed this sink just under 12 months ago and whilst it looked fabulous at first, and we were really pleased, we have since had an issue with discolouration. We are on a grey water system so none of our cleaning products are super harsh and yet we have ended up with an area in the sink that has had the surface finish come away. It's clearly a liquid that has caused the problem given the shape of it so likely something we have had in the sink but if we can't use the sink with everyday products (that are not harsh cleaning products) then I am disappointed with the quality of the surfacing. Just a word of warning to others. Maybe stick with a stainless, the gold surface seems risky.

Our tap goes perfectly with our laundry giving us a touch of class. The tap sits firmly against bench top providing a stable base to use the hose.

Sink looks fantastic in new kitchen - haven’t used yet, but undermount installation looks wonderful. It took me a lot of looking to find what I wanted, but thanks to Buildmat, eventually I found it!
Absolutely love the soft colouring of the brushed brass gold. A real show piece without being over bearing. Great water pressure, easy to change between overhead and shower hose. Will definitely purchase again without hesitation if we do another bathroom renovation.

I received my sink and mixer tap within 4 days which was fantastic. Once installed the sink and mixer tap look fantastic and such high quality.
My favourite part of the kitchen Reno. I love the big sink to easily wash up oven trays and chopping boards. The mini sink is perfect for smaller items. Can stack loads of dishes in the sink while cooking to keep them out of the way until stacking them in the dishwasher. You won’t regret buying this.
This is the best sink for every day use, it’s size lets you wash the largest pots and pans with ease, it’s a beautiful statement piece also, I bought the roll drainer and is a great accessory for extra drainage or to sit pots on, very strong

This is the second time I bought this mixer - once for my studio then the same for the kitchen. It has great clearance over the sink, feels good quality, and everything operates very well. Easy to install.
Excellent customer service after product was lost by the delivery company a replacement was promptly dispatched. The sink is a great addition to the laundry upgrade and easy to install even for a novice like me.
The sink size is perfect for larger dishes, however the first time using it i cleaned a casserole dish, and it left big scratch marks all over the sink. I am so disappointed that it did this. I paid a lot of money for a good quality sink for it to scratch on first use. On contacting the supplier, all i received back after sending them photos like they requested, is a email on how to keep it clean, and to purchase a metal sink protector.As i said, its a great sink if you are after a large one, and dont care about scratching it. I personally will not buy this brand again.
The Nisa is a stunning looking tap (check out the glamour shot). It works brilliantly too - there is NO splashing, great water flow, and the tap handle is smooth and easy to adjust.
The other thing I must mention is the amazing support provided by the BUILDMAT team. I was left with a dodgy install by my plumber …so I emailed BUILDMAT with photos of my tap underbelly and asked for help to fix the problem. The instructions and photos I received were so clear and easy to follow that problem was sorted in no time at all. So a big shout out to the good natured team at BUILDMAT for their stellar customer support.

The Penny Single Bowl Sink is a robust and elegant addition to our new kitchen. The product was easy to order and arrived as described and well packaged. The 1.5mm steel thickness adds a solid feel and size, engineering and finish is excellent - this unit will complement any kitchen or laundry design.
I was initially reluctant to spend so much for the mat but I don’t regret it after purchasing it. The quality is so good and looks beautiful in my kitchen.
