We searched online for a reputable Australian made product and without much stress, Buildmat surfaced via an advertisement on our Facebook page. We took the plunge and contacted Buildmat for prices and availability. the Salesgirl Alexis was terrific, assuring us stock was readily available, and we received some attractive pricing. Our kitchen is not being installed until January, so we held off until late October to put our order through. We sent all the specifications to our cabinet manufacturer 'Classic Kitchens'. I understand that they have since recommended Buildmat to other clients with success. Our Buildmat product arrived on time (as advised), we opened the boxes and were pleasanly pleased with our new sink, Mixer and other accessories. The sink is safely stored awaiting for the installation of our new kitchen. It is still in the box in the protection wrapping.

Lovely sink which was the deepest I could find that would fit within my restricted space. I also bought the compatible insert so I can defrost my dogs food. Delivery was 7 business days locally.
The chopping board doesn’t have a smooth finish and bits of wood comes off when chopping on the board. Wasn’t aware of this before purchasing the product and all the chopping boards I’ve seen have smooth finishes. It’s a good fit with my new sink but pretty useless product for my household because I don’t want my family to inhale pieces of wood each time we cook.
